WindandWater ApS is proud to announce that we are now ISO 9001:2015 certified. To become ISO 9001:2015 certified, WindandWater ApS underwent an evaluation process that included: quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.

WindandWater ApS’s decision to become ISO 9001:2015 certified is a proactive one that not only anticipates the demands of our customers, but also demonstrates a commitment to providing quality services to all current and future customers. To maintain our certification, WindandWater ApS will perform audits to ensure compliance and to assess initiatives for continued improvement.

With our goals focused on the emphasis of quality assurance and innovative services, we look forward to meeting our future business opportunities in the months and years to come.

We would also like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to all our team members for their continued commitment and effort during the process of ISO 9001:2015.

News from our projects with Vattenfall

Vattenfall News went to DK-Aalborg, where the substation for Sandbank Offshore Wind Farm is being built. Forget about technical terms and long descriptions - in this " handheld " video Martin Zappe, who is Technical Project Manager for offshore wind farm project Sandbank explains, in simple terms what the purpose of a substation is and how it works. You also get a glimpse of the huge construction.

Facts about Sandbank: The Offshore Wind Farm Sandbank is a joint venture between Vattenfall and Stadtwerke München and is located 110 km from the coast in the German North Sea, 90 km west of the island of Sylt. When Sandbank is completed, in 2017, the wind farm will consist of 72 Siemens wind turbines in the 4 MW class plus a substation. The 288 MW wind farm will supply renewable electricity to over 400,000 households.

WindandWater ApS is proud to say that we have been part of the marine coordination process from the very beginning. A really impressive sight!
