Marine Coordination for Rødsand 2 Offshore Wind Farm
Wind and Water has been awarded the contract for the Marine Coordination for Rødsand 2 Offshore Wind Farm.
Rødsand 2 is the latest Danish wind Farm. The wind farm, owned by E.ON consist of 90 2,3 MW Siemens turbines giving a total capacity of 207 MW.
The wind farm is located in the Baltic Sea. The wind farm is scheduled to be in operation 2010
Port of construction will be Rødbyhavn. The port is densely trafficked by ferries and the slots to take out the construction vessels are very narrow, giving the Marine Coordinators extra challenges.
Wind and Water are very pleased about this new assignment and look forward to giving E.ON our full support.
